Tranquility by Design

This space is occupied by Yoga Shala in the Haystack Building located in the Perry District of Spokane. This is a second story slab poured over a pan deck. The finishers left the surface quite bumpy and lumpy as you can see in the photos. We had to order special tooling to be able to contour the floors and polish it up with out significantly cutting down the grade of the concrete.

Perfect Imperfections

This floor ended up being a level two finish which means we left some very nice salt and pepper aggregate exposure with a semigloss like shine. It ended up being a really great floor when it was all said and done.  As a result of lumpiness it was impossible to to have an even surface exposure creating variation in color, model and aggregate exposure. The polish gave a ripply water like reflection which worked really well for the use of the space leaving the owners and occupants blissful.
